Evaluation
So far, we unfortunately have'nt achieved what we aimed to. Preparation and organisation wasn't as detailed at first but we had still managed to start of well finishing our first scene. We spontaneously found a dedicated main character and location and filmed the varied shots of the main character Zara getting ready, towards the end we had briefly discussed about the other actors, locations and the filming we had to do next.
However when the second opportunity came to film we couldn't get anything done because of our lack of communication and organisation, furthermore we relied on our script for other shots we could do with the location available and no characters and we figured out some various shots to get done. We experimented with the camera and finished the scene where the main character dies, we used the camera as a point of view shot and used an out of focus command on the camera to make this shot effective for its purpose. Unfortunately this was done without our third member Amy as she hadn't been able to attend. We also managed to shoot our main character again for any individual shots we could do without the other cast, we didn't want to waste any time and filmed whatever we could, we used face paint to create the image we wanted and found some props we needed to complete the last shot.
Fortunately we learnt from our mistake the third time round, we did prepare and have a detailed schedule for 2 days in which we could manage to finish on time, we found a cast that was available for both time slots and grouped all the afternoon and morning shots together and prepared a successful and efficient film session. Unfortunately our actors decided to drop out last minute and this happening twice we realised how they were unreliable and were forced to find new actors, hence leaving us with incomplete work. Nevertheless we are still determined to finish and depend on ourselves to complete our trailer.
